Terms of the free ad check
The ad check is free. These are the few rules that come with it.
What it does
It looks at your active Meta ads in Meta's public Ad Library and opens the pages they lead to on a phone, from the United States, the way a new shopper would. Then it reports three things: ads that open a broken page, pages that don't say what the ad said, and how fast the page most of your ads open loads, measured by Google PageSpeed Insights.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't see your analytics, your ad account or your sales.
- It never adds anything to a cart and never enters checkout.
- It reads only public pages, and only those your store's robots.txt allows.
- It shows the moment it ran. Ads and pages change; a review can be out of date the next day.
It's automated, and it can be wrong
An AI model compares each ad's wording with its page, and code checks that every quote in the review really appears in the ad and on the page. Even so, a finding can be wrong or miss something. Check a finding yourself before you act on it. The review is information, not advice.
The rules
- Request a check only for a store you own or work for.
- One check per email address a day, and one per connection an hour.
- I may refuse a request, pause the check, or stop offering it.
No guarantee
The check and the review are provided as they are, without any guarantee. As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for decisions you make based on them.
